Designing the invisible

IFDM Talk + Experience at the brand-new ICG Gallery in Dubai’s D3

On 3 November, Iris Ceramica Group will host a talk on the theme of neuro-architecture to inaugurate its new space – the ICG Gallery – in D3, as part of Dubai Design Week and in collaboration with Campomarzio70 and Autex

The talk will be moderated by Paolo Bleve, publisher of IFDM, who will lead two distinguished guests – Evgenia Molchanova (founder and principal of E+A Studio) and Adriana Graur (Creative Director at DWP) – in a conversation exploring the application of neuroscience to the fields of architecture and interior design.

The design world in the Middle East already boasts numerous examples of architecture and interiors created using a neuroscience-based approach, and the talk will explore this theme in depth, touching on the residential and office sectors, before moving on to the topic of urban regeneration.
Adriana Graur (Design of the Year 2025) has long been speaking the language of neuro-architecture, and the Informa Office project in Bahrain is a prime example of this.
Evgenia Molchanova has embraced neuro-architecture as the guiding principle of her design practice – a very strong and clear personal and professional choice that has attracted clients even in the luxury sector, as demonstrated by ‘Tranquil Oasis’, a private villa in Palm Jumeirah.

Following the talk, visitors will be able to experience a sensory and immersive journey engaging the senses of touch, smell and hearing (as well as sight, of course), in collaboration with Campomarzio70 (fragrances) and Autex (sound insulation) – an experience that Iris Ceramica Group has already successfully presented at the latest edition of Clerkenwell in London in May.
