Tomorrow’s classics

From great masters to new collaborations, the design world celebrates its icons. Historic brands unveil special anniversary editions, while innovative designs and bold reinterpretations of timeless classics define the latest trends in contemporary living

Blendy Slowtime | Omi Tahara | De Padova
De Padova celebrates its 70th anniversary by honoring the Milanese elegance that has always been the soul of the brand. This attitude is reflected in the Blendy Slowtime sofa, part of the new collection. An evolution of the Blendy collection, the new model introduces an even more welcoming and informal configuration, characterized by large, soft, free-form cushions. Blendy Slowtime thus introduces a new, more relaxed idea of elegance in favor of spontaneous and enveloping comfort.

Ruby Red Collection | Artemide & Danese Milano
Artemide and Danese Milano reinterpret some of their icons in a bold, limited-edition collection. Presented in an unprecedented deep red hue, these lamps and accessories take on a new identity through color, which becomes a design element that reshapes our perception of the objects and reveals new qualities. Part of the Ruby Red collection are the Tolomeo Micro, Ilio, Dalù, Teti, Nesso, and Nessino lamps by Artemide, alongside the Timor calendar, the Dedalo umbrella stand, the Dedalino pencil holder, and the Selene chair by Danese Milano.

Rosary | India Mahdavi | Bolzan
With Rosary, India Mahdavi interprets the headboard as an artistic element that enriches the bedroom with color and materiality. The designer combines an upholstered wooden panel (covered in velvet she designed for Pierre Frey or with a selection of fabrics from the Bolzan collection) with a top border composed of a sequence of cylindrical ceramic elements in various sizes and colors. The bed thus emerges as a decorative centerpiece in the room and, at the same time, a personal sanctuary that provides an enveloping sensory experience.

Warm and velvety notes blend with delicate and unexpected nuances, evoking the most intimate and sophisticated side of Milan. Along with this signature scent, Campomarzio70 has also developed a custom diffuser that becomes a design object, creating a stylistic dialogue with the hotel’s interiors.
