A subtle common thread runs through the entire Armani collection, whether it be fashion, design or accessories. It is an aesthetic philosophy based on simple lines and perfect proportions, enriched by precious materials, refined finishes and elegant fabrics. Building on this foundation, Giorgio Armani has created a universal style that transcends time and space, defining a way of being – and not merely a way of dressing or living. It is the principle of timeless elegance that has always characterised the brand. Armani first developed this in haute couture before infusing it into the home. The domestic sphere has thus become a reflection of a distinct lifestyle – sophisticated and meticulous in its details, just like a bespoke suit.
This vision, quite simply, underpins a comprehensive approach to interior design – from upholstered pieces and furniture to accessories and wall coverings – creating atmospheres that are instantly recognisable. It was therefore natural for the Armani/Casa brand to extend this philosophy to the outdoor world, anticipating a vision that is now extremely relevant: outdoor spaces that recreate the style and comfort typical of interiors.

The Armani/Casa outdoor collection is created by strictly adhering to the same principles that shape the indoor range: the same lines, the same proportions, and the same attention to fabrics, finishes and details characterise furniture designed for outdoor living, offering a comprehensive range that allows you to furnish relaxation areas, sun lounging areas and dining spaces. The key difference lies in the main material, Weaved Textured Teak, which is suitable for outdoor use and characterised by a three-dimensional weave reminiscent of woven fabrics; and a range of jacquard upholstery fabrics for outdoor use, which complete the look.
The outdoor collection is expanding this year with new additions, starting with the Terence seating range, which includes a 2- or 3-seater sofa, a modular version, an armchair and a footrest. A distinctive feature of the collection is the solid teak frame, which is naturally weather-resistant: the wood is sculpted to create a sinuous shape, in which the tubular armrests form a single element together with the front legs and the upper edge of the backrest. The three-dimensional quality of the Weaved Textured Teak adds a sensory touch of character, directly evoking the surfaces of Armani’s fashion fabrics. The various seating pieces alternate between empty spaces and solid volumes thanks to the generous cushions, conveying a sense of lightness and comfort at the same time.
An undisputed icon of the outdoor world, the director’s chair is reinterpreted here in Armani style with Thelma: soft and padded, it creates a cosy nook supported by a solid teak frame; and as it is foldable, it is easy to transport and store, thus combining impeccable aesthetics with functionality. The seating range is complemented by the Timothy sun lounger – also available in a double version – which stands out for its rounded corners, visible on the outer sides of the legs and echoed in the main frame that surrounds the mattress.

Living and dining areas are then completed with tables and coffee tables from the collection, which become focal points for socialising. Take the Thomas table, for example, crafted from Textured Woven Teak and available in two rectangular versions – one fixed and one extendable – and two round versions: the nautical inspiration is evident in the wooden slats that make up the tabletop, a choice that lends the whole piece a refined and dynamic look. Similarly, the Turner and Terry side tables: the former stands out for its sophisticated combination of materials – teak and Taj Mahal quartzite – whilst the latter is distinguished by its design, thanks to the X-shaped arrangement of its legs and the tabletop featuring wooden slats and a raised edge. In every piece of the Armani/Casa outdoor collection, one recognises the same creative touch found in its fashion designs – that of someone who knows that elegance knows no bounds.
