Riflessi interprets contemporary living

“More and more a cultural phenomenon as well as a design discipline, the concept of design culture identifies a vision that recognises design’s ability to express identities, values and contemporary lifestyles.” Riflessi embraces this perspective through a “hidden” value that runs throughout all its collections: a savoir-faire revealed only in the harmony of the whole, a know-how that emerges through the enduring quality of its furnishings, and an expertise that enables the company to interpret contemporary life and translate it into new ways of living. From this vision emerge collections capable of adapting to the needs of every environment: highly distinctive solutions for residential, hospitality and contract settings, as demonstrated by the new products unveiled during Fuorisalone 2026. A symbol of this design philosophy is Riflessi’s seating collection, continuously enriched with new models designed by CarlesiTonelli Studio.

“A category that embodies the essence of Italian design and its tradition,” explains the company, which has built an entire universe of style, comfort and customisation possibilities around the archetype of the chair. Among the 2026 novelties are Archimede and Velvet, two seating designs that interpret the concept of hospitality through a refined selection of materials and craftsmanship.

Archimede stands out for the distinctive V-shaped opening in its backrest, a graphic feature that lends dynamism to the chair while creating an exceptionally enveloping effect. This structural characteristic is further enhanced by the various material configurations available, including leather or fabric upholstery, saddle leather finishes, and a woven nautical rope backrest. The wide range of options highlights the company’s versatility and a design approach capable of complementing any interior style.

Velvet, available as both chair and stool, instead embraces softness in every aspect, from its generous volumes to its upholstery. These qualities are paired with the rounded lines of the metal base, culminating in a steel insert applied to the backrest. “Every detail reflects the company’s ongoing pursuit of manufacturing excellence, tailoring expertise and exclusive craftsmanship that embody the most authentic expression of Made in Italy,” the company notes.

Within this framework also sits Vela, one of the brand’s icons and the embodiment of a refined contemporary language. Ergonomics, comfort and aesthetic research define this seating collection, allowing it to adapt effortlessly to a wide range of settings, from informal domestic interiors to sophisticated hospitality and workplace environments. Its expressive versatility is further enhanced by an extensive range of upholstery options and finishes. Vela can be configured with a tubular metal base available in Graphite, Pearl Champagne or Bronze, as well as hand-brushed Brass, Titanium, Ruby and Cobalt finishes.

Thanks to this strong identity, Vela was awarded the prestigious Good Design Award 2025, an international recognition celebrating its ability to interpret contemporary design through an innovative and distinctive language while highlighting Riflessi’s design and manufacturing excellence.

Another emblem of the company’s design culture is Techwall, which interprets furnishing design as an open system, constantly evolving alongside new living requirements thanks to its modular structure and ability to be reconfigured over time.

This fully customisable modular system goes beyond the traditional concept of a bookcase to become a dynamic and versatile solution serving multiple purposes: organising space, storing and displaying objects and artworks, and furnishing interiors with a strong decorative character. This year, new storage units and drawer elements – also available in Pearl Champagne and Matte Black finishes – further enrich the Techwall compositions, extending their architectural character and expressive possibilities.
