Armani-style open air

The Armani/Casa Outdoor collection expands with new furnishings that bring the maison's textures and sartorial style to outdoor design

A subtle design, craftsmanship that adds a touch of sophistication to a minimalist ensemble, geometry that brings dynamism to a composition characterized by lightness. These are small details, but they reveal a universe of style, the recognizable and timeless style of Armani/Casa. The interior line translates the maison’s sartorial dictates into a complete range for the home, reproducing the same discreet but incisive elegance, between iconic design and historical inspirations. A vision that also extends to the outdoor collection and its new offerings.

The common thread that stylistically unites many of the new products is a finish that creates a sophisticated and sensory note that gives the furniture a deep character. This is the three-dimensional Weaved Textured Teak finish that outlines the teak wood structures, directly recalling the typical surface of Armani fashion fabrics: a weave that gives rhythm, energy, and refinement even to a material surface such as solid wood and brings out the high craftsmanship that shapes every product of the brand.

This finish characterizes the Terence line: the sofa, armchair, and pouf take shape from a sinuous teak structure (naturally resistant to atmospheric agents). In the seats, the tubular armrests create a single element together with the front legs and the upper profile of the backrest, creating an effect of great visual and compositional harmony.

Meanwhile, the Weaved Textured finish, applied to the lower band of the structure and to the band that runs horizontally behind the back cushions, emphasizes the profiles. What emerges from this line is also an idea of striking lightness, conveyed by the alternation of empty spaces and soft cushions (made of water-repellent rubber to ensure optimal outdoor use), covered with refined Armani/Casa outdoor fabrics.

The same Weaved Textured Teak finish also characterizes the Thomas dining table (available in two rectangular versions, one fixed and one extendable, and in two round versions) applied to the outer side of the legs, and on the Timothy sun lounger, defining its perimeter and legs with their original rounded design.

There is another typical Armani style feature that does not go unnoticed in the new proposals and creates a continuous interplay with other indoor collections. It is the X-shaped element that forms the basis of many Armani/Casa furnishings and which, in the outdoor collection, accompanies the Terry coffee table: minimalist and linear, it is the essence of the maison in a compact accessory. It features a round or square top made of wooden slats and a raised edge to prevent objects from falling off, finished in Weaved Textured Teak.

The Thelma chair follows the same design philosophy, with the crossing of the legs serving not only a stylistic purpose but also a functional one, as it is foldable. Inspired by classic director’s chairs, it offers greater comfort with its padded seat upholstered in outdoor fabrics from the Armani/Casa collection.
