CASA ELLE, San Paolo, BrazilThe One Atelier is bringing ELLE into a new residential context in Latin America with two branded developments in São Paulo: Casa ELLE and ELLE Collection São Paulo. Developed with Brazilian real estate company Meira Mattos Incorporadora and Arquinaut, the projects comprise a collection of 25 residences – 11 at Casa ELLE and 14 at ELLE Collection – marking the third international market in which The One Atelier has worked with ELLE, following Miami and Dubai.
At the heart of the project is a question that goes beyond applying a recognisable brand aesthetic to a residential setting: how can the codes, values and cultural relevance of ELLE be translated into spaces that genuinely feel like home? Rather than replicating the same visual language across markets, The One Atelier has developed the interiors in response to São Paulo’s architecture, culture and way of living.

The result is a dialogue between ELLE’s international identity and Brazil’s distinctive design culture. Brazilian designers and creative references will be incorporated into the interiors, giving the residences a strong local character while retaining the recognisable identity of the global brand. The two developments offer distinct interpretations of this approach. Located in Brooklin Velho, Casa ELLE will comprise 11 villas of approximately 480 sqm, each with five suites and a panoramic terrace with private swimming pool. Inspired by the architectural heritage of Brazilian Modernism, the interiors are shaped around generous proportions, natural light, tactile materials and warm tones, creating spaces designed equally for family life and entertaining. At Alto da Boa Vista, ELLE Collection São Paulo comprises 14 residences conceived around landscape and privacy. Responding to the development’s greener setting, the interiors are designed as calm and refined environments with a close relationship to nature.

CASA ELLE, San Paolo, Brazil 4Although different in character, the two concepts share the same objective: to make ELLE’s identity tangible through materials, furnishings, spatial design and the everyday experience of living. For The One Atelier, this means allowing the brand to emerge naturally rather than imposing it on the architecture. “The starting point was understanding how the interiors could respond to the generous proportions, natural light and greenery surrounding each project,” explains Michele Galli, CEO of The One Atelier. Individual material palettes, tactile surfaces, warm tones and carefully considered details were developed for each concept, balancing privacy and tranquillity with hospitality and everyday family life.

The projects illustrate a broader evolution in branded residences, where the value of a global lifestyle brand increasingly depends on its ability to adapt to its location. In São Paulo, The One Atelier positions ELLE not simply as a visual identity, but as a way of living shaped by the meeting of international culture and Brazilian design. In this sense, Casa ELLE and ELLE Collection São Paulo demonstrate how branded residential design can move beyond branding itself, creating spaces in which architecture, interiors and lifestyle become part of a single, locally relevant identity.
