The famous Cannes Yachting Festival kicks off the calendar in September, from 12 to 17 September. Six days in the sunshine of the French Riviera, to unveil over 650 vessels (from 5 to 50 meters) equipped with “classic” or already decarbonized motors, including the first electric, hybrid or hydrogen propulsion systems. Along with the latest nautical gear, innovations and world premieres, ready to greet about 55,000 visitors, including professionals and yachtsmen, boating lovers and fans. The new development for this edition is the creation of a marina at Vieux Port for the smaller boats, from 8 to 12 meters (previously exhibited on land at Quai Max Laubeuf).

The Cannes Yachting Festival is split between Port Canto, for the sailing vessels, a worldwide showcase for large sailboats, the Yacht Brokerage area, with French and international players in the market for second-hand properties, and the “Toys” space with its wide variety of devices for sports and recreation. And Vieux Port, one of the oldest ports on the Riviera, presents the motor yachts this year from the world’s leading shipyards, with the protagonists of motor yachting even above 45 meters in length.

“In the meantime, the recent opening of the navigable canals, the spectacular island that forms the setting of the Padiglione Blu, and the new exhibition piers that already this year will host 200 new moorings, make the Boat Show a unique platform in the world today,” says Stefano Pagani Isnardi, Direttore Ufficio Studi e Progetti Confindustria Nautica.
