Sunon | Flying Airport Bench System

From experience gained during many trips, favaretto/partners has designed the Flying Airport Bench System for Sunon

For conscientious design, in the creation of the Flying Airport Bench System for Sunon favaretto/partners has also taken the life cycle of the product into account. The components are almost completely in aluminium, apart from the seat and back in polyurethane and/or curved plywood. The lateral view of the seating brings out the oblique line that determines the entire design, from the seat down to the foot. The whole system is mounted on a beam of extruded aluminium, sustained by legs in die-cast aluminium on which to attach all the parts.

“This new system of seating for waiting areas has been developed through the study of over 1000 behavioral samples taken from airports, stations, terminals, hospitals and other public places. With the ergonomic profile, support for the back and functional design focusing on human beings, waiting becomes easier and more comfortable, even for long periods of time.”
