New cooking concept

Elica transforms the culinary experience with Lhov™, an innovative all-in-one appliance. Winner of the Compasso d'Oro award, Lhov embodies functionality and design, creating unique sensory experiences

In the continuously evolving kitchen design landscape, Elica stands out with a campaign promising to redefine the cooking experience: “Accendi una nuova idea di cucina” (Spark a new vision for cooking) is the slogan of the new chapter for the Fabriano-based company, focusing on the concept of “Extraordinary Cooking.” The mission is clear: to highlight the interconnectedness of creativity, innovation, and design that defines the future of culinary art. At the heart of this revolution is Lhov™, the hero product of the campaign. This all-in-one solution, combining an oven, cooktop, and extraction system, encapsulates the perfect synthesis of functionality and form. Lhov has already earned Elica its second Compasso d’Oro. This prestigious accolade attests to Elica’s design excellence, transforming every culinary gesture into an extraordinary sensory experience.

“With Lhov, we have distilled the very essence of modern cooking,” says Andrea Cafiero, Brand & Communication Director of Elica. “The new campaign opens the door to a cooking experience that has never been so accessible and captivating. Imagination, style, and innovation are the heartbeat of our work, and this campaign is a tribute to our ongoing commitment to excellence.”

Created by the visionary mind of Fabrizio Crisà, Chief Design Officer of Elica, Lhov embodies the authenticity, beauty, and functionality that are the brand’s hallmark traits. Featuring a refined black glass aesthetic, Lhov showcases the excellence of Italian creativity, combining high performance with a minimalist, linear design that lacks knobs and handles. This appliance fits perfectly into any kitchen design thanks to its compact dimensions of 90×36 cm, optimizing space and transforming how we live the kitchen experience.

Lhov goes beyond merely removing smoke and odors from the cooktop. For the first time, it can also effectively extract air from the oven, eliminating the hot air and steam that typically accompany opening the oven. The ventilation system is highly intelligent, equipped with Long Life Filter++ that ensures unparalleled filtering effectiveness while reducing waste and simplifying maintenance. The newly conceived oven of Lhov represents a masterpiece of innovation and practicality. Its cavity, 30% larger than traditional ovens, offers numerous culinary possibilities: from the Side by Side option for baking two trays simultaneously, to the All In mode suitable for larger dishes, and the Little & Many function for multiple smaller portions. By integrating steam cooking, Lhov promotes a healthier and lighter cuisine.

Thanks to the intelligent probe, dishes achieve perfect cooking in autonomous mode. The digital display, ergonomic and interactive like a smartphone, acts as a control center, incorporating Wi-Fi connectivity for control via voice assistant. Additionally, the system offers intelligent power control, allowing users to set a maximum limit during installation to prevent overloading the power supply.

Lhov redefines the boundaries of the induction cooktop, driving innovation with five versatile and powerful cooking zones. Automatic functions inspired by professional cooking, such as Melting Mode and Fast Boiling, enhance the ability to experiment and adapt to the needs of any recipe. Furthermore, the system is designed to maximize energy efficiency, with controls that allow setting power limits to prevent unwanted overloads. As the pinnacle of Elica technology, this appliance is an example of intelligent integration of pure design and advanced functionality, satisfying the practical needs of cooks while elevating every kitchen moment to an extraordinarily engaging and refined experience.
