Moodboard - Golden Eye

Gold continues to be a benchmark in contemporary design. A material that is solidified light and can be as ancient and barbaric or as essential as a straight line. Reminiscent of Art Deco or of a ‘retro-future’ reminiscent of 1960s taste

1 | Fade by Luce di Carrara is a collection of four textures that reinterprets various motifs from the collective architectural legacy. 2 | Like a starry sky, the Constellation lighting collection by the prize-winning architect David Rockwell for Lasvit. 3 | Fenix NTA is the super-matte soft touch surface, resistant to fingerprings and micro-scratches, by Arpa Industriale. 4 | The Remind bookcase created for Fiam by Simone Bonanni has vertical aluminium uprights; the storage units are attached by means of a pressure system. 5 | Porcelain vase from the collection “Versailles Arches” by Jonathan Adler. 6 | The Margarita chair by Roberto Matta, in an edition by Paradisoterrestre. 7 | Soft forms and sinuous curves for the Bold chair by Fabio Fantolino for Nube. 8 | The Xilo table designed by Delineo for De Castelli has thick brass parts and a special new finish for the metal. 9 | Eclectic surfaces decorate the Nénuphar sideboard by Jumbo Collection. 10 | Bash by Tom Dixon is a tray made by hand from a single sheet of brass, finished in gold.
