Pure rounded forms, with classic simplicity based on a few compositional parts. This is the design direction taken in the Cask collection by Expormim, which has called on Norm Architects to create a line based on principles of ‘restraint and refinement’ typical of the firm’s style.
The designers have set out to “create a series of furnishings for the living area with a unique, contemporary and very comfortable design.” An armchair, a settee and an ottoman, based precisely on classic furniture with a rounded form: two pieces of rattan joined together, for remarkable comfort thanks to the soft upholstery. Nothing more. The colors have been selected in a range of pale hues, though the range of available finishes and fabrics can make these items flamboyant and bright, to adapt to any contemporary atmosphere.
