Custom atmospheres

Our domestic walls seem to no longer separate inside and outside. Many activities can be transformed into perfect outdoor experiences

True works of outdoor architecture: kitchens, saunas and tubs become the protagonists of outdoor spaces, which take on comfort thanks to awnings, pergolas and other structures for shelter from sun, wind and weather, for a truly relaxing situation.

Rodolfo Dordoni has designed the Norma outdoor kitchen for Roda, with an independent structure that enables it to adapt to outdoor spaces of various sizes, in compact or spacious solutions. The freestanding island contains the sink block in stainless steel, grafted into a strong Lapitec® counter with a structured finish. The peninsula provides an extension of the work area, forming a counter suspended in the air. The cooktop, with five gas burners, is also independent and can be mounted on fixed feet or wheels, for free movement of the entire unit.

Abimis, together with Studio Delineo and Massimo Rosati, has created ÀTRIA, the firm’s first kitchen specifically for outdoor living, with a core in stainless steel, for modular 100% personalization. The kitchen has an open architecture of harmonious proportions, made entirely in AISI 304 stainless steel. The structure is supported by discreet, slender steel legs, with adjustable feet for maximum stability. The storage modules, available in two different heights, are also in steel, with a range of finishes (natural, satin, buffed by hand), and can also be coated in all the RAL colors.

For total immersion in greenery, Starpool proposes a project by the studio aledolci&co: NatureSauna, an outdoor sauna where construction, man and nature blend in a harmonious whole. Made in spruce from Val di Fiemme with inserts in brushed copper, it plays with the evolution of materials in contact with the outdoor world. The natural oxidation of the surfaces creates a direct connection with the landscape. The spruce wood, in the black waxed or pale thermo-treated versions, is utilized in the structure and in the inner and outer cladding. Burnished copper clads the entrance and protects the wood behind the stove. The main façade and the entrance door are in glass, while the roofing is in sheet metal.

Connect by Pratic

Connect by Pratic

To enjoy outdoor living, but in a context of greater privacy, Pratic has created Connect, a bioclimatic pergola that multiplies the beauty of the landscape with reflecting glass. The structure can take on any function, always protected and at the same time connected to the world, thanks to the use of advanced home automation systems like Amazon Alexa and Google Home. With simple voice commands, Connect regulates the aluminium blades of the roof, the vertical awnings and the built-in LED lighting, creating personalized climate comfort and atmosphere.

Kedry Skylife by KE

For high levels of sunscreen performance, as well as protection from wind and rain, KE offers the Kedry Skylife bioclimatic pergola with retractable mobile blades. The system is innovative: with a single movement, the blades rotate and retract, opening and closing, for an individual approach to control of temperature and light. Thanks to its completely modular design, the pergola is ideal for insertion in spaces with different forms, covering large areas with minimal aesthetic impact. There is also the possibility of lighting the product inside and outside, thanks to a system of LED strips built into the perimeter sections.

SPAZIO is the new series of arm awnings by Gibus based on collaboration with the designers Meneghello Paolelli Associati. This is the first family of products to incorporate the patented Invisible Lock, a system that permits blocking between the ends that support the roller and the square bar, guaranteeing impeccable aesthetic continuity for the main structural parts of the awning. The models stand out for their versatile EDGE arms that permit spanning of maximum areas of 300 or 400 cm. The support bar is in solid steel, while all the other main parts are in powder-coated aluminium. The roller is in galvanized steel, the bolts in stainless steel. The program offers two optional types of lighting.
