Axolight | Bul-Bo Soft

A soft, colorful covering for Bul-Bo Soft, the lamp reissued by Axolight with the collaboration of Loro Piana

The name says it all. The Bul-Bo lamp created by the studio Gabetti & Isola to light the spaces of the Centro Residenziale Olivetti in Ivrea now becomes softer, under the moniker Bul-Bo Soft.  Axolight has introduced contemporary features, while fully respecting the original design, and the textile firm Loro Piana has covered the base in Altai wool-cashmere fabric, in two color variants.

The base, which has always made this lamp a playful object with its form that reminds us of a bulb or an onion, now has soft raiment to make it even wittier.

There are two selected hues: a ‘natural’ color with contrasting warm red stitching, and a warm red tone with ton-sur-ton stitching. Bul-Bo Soft, a reading lamp for the desktop or a lighting point resembling a suspension lamp, is distributed exclusively through Loro Piana stores and the showrooms of Loro Piana Interiors.
