A&B Living | Integral

Philippe Nigro has designed the Integral table and chair for the 2023 collection of A&B living: rigorous pieces that bring lightness to solid wood

The juxtaposition of volumes that create crisscross structures generates the Integral table and chair by A&B living, two sculptures for the living area with forceful geometry that combines with surprising visual lightness. Planks of solid canaletto walnut and maple become a mechanical game, seeming to transport us into impossible Escher-like realms, in a fast pace of full-empty alternation to trigger chiaroscuro effects. A graphic design that establishes a rapport between the table and chair of the collection, also in dialogue with the space where the pieces are inserted, interacting with natural elements like light and air.

The result stems from a procedure of fine cabinet-making, in keeping with the original DNA of the company founded and guided by the creativity of Alessio Bernardini: “Fine craftsmanship and design are now two worlds that have a conversation, completing each other,” he says. And the Integral collection is a concrete example.
