Nyra by Atlas Concorde, design Alberto Apostoli A collaboration with Alberto Apostoli, the Nyra collection by Atlas Concorde (on cover) is a fusion of stone and fabric. It presents a compact, textural surface defined by subtle patterns and veining. The solid background is dotted with an interplay of mineral inclusions, from which delicate textures and widespread veining emerge. With Nyra, the Fiorano Modenese-based company explores the principles of wellness architecture and how a surface can become a wellness experience.
Ēclos® by Cosentino Ēclos® by Cosentino introduces a new category to the surfaces industry: Inlayered Mineral Surfaces. This new mineral surface features a layered, full-body (3D) design and superior heat resistance. Thanks to its Inlayr® technology, its production combines recycled materials with a zero crystalline silica composition, using a process of advanced robotic engineering and integrated decorative techniques. The result is a high-performance material designed for indoor applications, particularly suitable for kitchen countertops and bathroom surfaces.
Santafiora by Margraf All grades of Santafiora® stone, from the lightest to the darkest, are extracted from the quarry in Manciano, nestled in the Maremma hills of the Grosseto province. It is a place immersed in nature, where large blocks are produced in significant quantities, ready for immediate inspection and sale. Characterised by exceptional resistance to high temperatures, it is an ideal choice for fireplaces and kitchen environments, while its compactness and low porosity make it frost-proof and thus suitable for stairs, outdoor flooring, and cladding. It is also naturally slip-resistant, offering greater safety on wet or sloped surfaces. Finally, its UV and stain resistance ensure the stone's colour remains unchanged over time.
Glint Variation by Ceramiche Refin, design Quayola The Glint Variation collection of unique porcelain stoneware pieces – in 30x30 cm and 30x60 cm formats with a 20mm thickness – is the latest stage in the journey undertaken with the artist as part of the Refin DTS - Daring Art Explorations project. The result of a technical and material cross-pollination between the artist and the Refin Laboratory, it explores new possibilities for porcelain stoneware. The challenge was to reproduce a structure on the stoneware surface that recreated the geometry developed by Quayola. To represent the ripples of water, a special ceramic mould was designed to press a bas-relief structure.
