Beltrami: the art of living

The textile maison has created a culture of comfort that elevates the rituals of daily life, both at home and in hotels

True wellness lies in rediscovering the pleasure of small daily rituals and transforming them into an experience that embraces the senses and enhances the comfort of living. Setting a table with beautiful linens, wrapping oneself in a soft bathrobe, sleeping in plush sheets: these are the details that elevate the quality of life, both at home and in hotels. Beltrami has made this concept its raison d’être, bringing a touch of elegance and exceptional quality to everyday gestures. An Italian textile maison, Beltrami has cultivated a “culture of comfort” built on over 60 years of experience in the high-end hospitality world, which has since been extended to every sector – spa, yachting, banqueting, and prestigious residential projects. Founded in 1965 in Cene, a town in the Seriana Valley near Bergamo, the brand is rooted in the tradition of a region that is one of Northern Italy’s most important for the textile industry. From a small business founded by Mario Beltrami, it has grown into a benchmark for the production of fabrics and linens for the bed, bath, table, and homewear, and is now part of the larger La Bottega Collective group.

Beltrami’s collections are distinguished by their refined style, but above all, by the material they are made of. Beltrami textiles are designed for environments where touch, care, and daily use are the most authentic measures of quality. For decades, Beltrami has honed its savoir-faire by collaborating with some of the most exclusive and prestigious names in international hospitality – such as Lefay Resort & Spa Dolomiti, Le K2 Palace Courchevel, and the Excelsior Gallia in Milan. This expertise has been built in demanding contexts where textiles are used and touched every day, yet must maintain their quality over time.

The raw material is therefore the fundamental element from which the brand develops its savoir-faire; the quality of the fiber is the basis of every creation. Beltrami has developed Autentica Fibra di Legno (Authentic Wood Fiber), a textile innovation derived from birch wood. Sourced from certified forests in Northern Europe, the fiber is processed entirely in Italy, relying on a controlled supply chain and a long tradition of artisanal wisdom. The Autentica Fibra di Legno Beltrami yarn offers several advantages: it is highly durable, wash after wash, ensuring that the textiles maintain their aesthetic and performance over time. Furthermore, it offers a smooth and fluid feel, similar to silk, but with greater breathability and ease of maintenance.

From this research, which unites nature and technology, come permanent collections, capsule collections, and custom projects – with a bespoke personalization service and consulting for tailor-made linen products. In addition to the hotel sector, Beltrami’s know-how is applied in the worlds of spa and wellness, dining, yachting, and interior design: different expressions, each defined by its context of use and united by the tradition of Italian textiles.
