Fantoni makes a stop in Sweden

The company specialized in office furnishings takes part in the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair 2020. The leading products are Atelier and Acoustic Room

Fantoni pays close attention to the Scandinavian market (especially Norway and Sweden), and for some years now the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair has become a must. “We entered the northern European market with our 4akustik sound-absorbing panels, years ago, and later also with furniture. We are doing very well there with the Acoustic Room pods and the height-adjustable tables, much in demand in these countries,” says Rosita Venturini, Communication & Media Relations Manager.

The event in Stockholm is a gathering place for architects and interior designers, as well as a target of great interest for companies like Fantoni. As Rosita Venturini explains, the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair has evolved: “The fair has grown in terms of quality of the offerings of exhibitors, as well as the quality of the visitors, who are no longer just Scandinavians. They also arrive from the Baltic states and some from the US, for a true international milieu.”

The Fantoni booth features two key products: Atelier and Acoustic Room. The first was presented at Salone del Mobile. Milano 2019, where Marianna Fantoni, Technical Director, told us: “This is an office furnishing system made for the Gensler studio in London. The design and exchange of ideas happened via Skype. This dynamism and contemporary approach to communication are evident in the final product.” The extremely innovative compositional scheme is organized with four main elements: a workstation for different configurations, a collaboration table with a height of 105 cm, multifunctional and also ready for various configurations, a family of dynamic cabinets including a pinboard unit, and a bookcase-storage system. Atelier has received the Trophée de l’Innovation 2019 at Workspace Expo in Paris, and gained honors at the Architectural Record Products Award 2019, and a Silver medal at the International Design Awards 2020.

Acoustic Room, on the other hand, has been created by Fantoni as a solution to needs of social contact and privacy in new workspaces, which require small meeting areas or zones that are set apart for privacy. The brand can thus offer an acoustically protected oasis inside an open-plan office or collective space, also for temporary working positions.
