Una foresta di cristallo

A Dubai, l’One&Only One Za’abeel Hotel presenta interni di Jean-Michel Gathy e illuminazione di Preciosa con 300 creazioni in cristallo di Boemia

Sorge a Dubai, nei pressi del Dubai Mall, del Burj Khalifa e dell’aeroporto, il resort urbano verticale del marchio di ospitalità One&Only. Gli interni, firmati dal belga Jean-Michel Gathy, si caratterizzano per una palette di colori che sono un richiamo alla sabbia bianca del deserto.

Preciosa ha progettato e prodotto il 95% dell’illuminazione decorativa dell’intera proprietà e, lavorando proprio attorno a questa ispirazione, ha decorato i 70 spazi esclusivi dell’hotel con 300 opere in cristallo di Boemia soffiate a mano.

Fra queste, la foresta di 18 alberi sospesi, composti da quasi 7.000 bacchette di cristallo, che accolgono gli ospiti nella hall dell’hotel. E 9 installazioni con le sfere opaline Pearl Drop, una delle quali è la più lunga (45 metri e quasi 900 perle soffiate a mano) mai realizzata da Preciosa.
