In mythology, Zeus turned into a swan to seduce fascinating Leda, queen of Sparta. This has been the guiding inspiration with which Debonademeo has created the Leda collection of lamps, an exceptional combination of poetry and technology. The modular lighting system Karman reminds us of the supple curves of a swan’s neck, with their innate elegance. The structure of the lamps, for various compositions, alternates cylindrical bars and small spheres in bronze or black anodized aluminium, strung like pearls on a thread that supports an LED strip wrapped in a tube of transparent flexible silicone. Ready for installation in any direction, Leda can be utilized in interiors or outdoor zones as a suspension lamp, a floor lamp or a complete lighting system.
