Martinelli Luce | Cabriolette

Taking inspiration from the automotive world, Cabriolette, designed by Studio Natural for Martinelli Luce, is reminiscent of a convertible top

A single lamp, but many versions to suit every place and every circumstance, Cabriolette by Martinelli Luce comes in table, wall or cordless versions, suitable for outdoor use. For this project, Alessandro Paoletti and Marco De Santi of Studio Natural were inspired by a convertible top that protects passengers from sun, wind and weather. They have thus created a lamp that is small in size, functional and with a rounded and playful shape, with an aluminium structure painted in different colours (white, yellow, black depending on the version).

Cabriolette’s reflector allows the light to be transformed and directed, depending on where the small lamp is placed. The various versions available – table, wall or cordless – make it suitable for any environment or function. The Cabriolette table rests on the desk or next to the sofa, becoming a reading lamp, the wall version illuminates bedrooms or living areas, and the cordless version, with rechargeable battery, is suitable for gardens, on summer evenings.
