Misha in “Colour variations”

The collaboration with Atelier Mériguet-Carrère has triggered new palettes for the Esotismi collection by Cristina Celestino for Misha. On display in Paris

A meeting of kindred spirits – devoted to creativity, workmanship and art – is happening in Paris, inside The Secret Gallery. The first step was taken by Misha, a brand specialized in the creation of fabric wallcoverings, which together with the designer Cristina Celestino has created its first “Signature Collection” under the name Esotismi, a two-dimensional representation of the brand’s identity, philosophy and values, as well as its creative potential.

This first match has been followed by a natural evolution towards partnership with the historic French company Mériguet-Carrère Paris, renowned for expertise in interior decorating and exceptional know-how in the field of color and artistic techniques (outstanding projects include the Elysée Palace, the White House, Opéra Garnier and the homes of Yves Saint Laurent).
Misha has understood that the French atelier can be the perfect counterpart with which to give rise to a project of experimentation, precisely with the Esotismi collection. The result is an original palette of hues for the four patterns of the collection of wallcoverings, two for each decoration (Cabana, Passiflora, Formosa and Oasi), conceived to permit combination of wallcoverings in silk with monochrome walls in perfectly coordinated nuances, selected – not by chance – by Cristina Celestino. The final effect is one of harmonious alternation of full and empty zones, patterns and solid colors.

Colour variations for Esotismi collection by Cristina Celestino” – as the new capsule collection is billed – finds a perfect setting inside the spaces of The Secret Gallery in Paris, at 19 rue de Varenne, in the context of the exhibition “Happy Interiors” on view until 26 March: a show that brings together various artists (like Reda Amalou, Alexandre Baldrei, Charchoune, Jean Dewasne, Chiara Dynys, Folon, Sacha Haillote, Lapicque, Thomas Lardeur, Rotraut), alongside the “works” by Misha, including a special version of the Formosa model painted and embroidered by hand.
