Happy Together

An itinerary through 6 cities, this is Together World Tour, the format that Ideal Standard has launched to enrich its idea of a bathroom with multicultural contents without borders

Together World Tour is a storage unit inspired by the television series, a world tour that began in Milan and that will continue in Berlin (16 June), London, Paris, Dubai, to then end in Shanghai: 6 metropolises that speak the language of living and design.

The bathroom that gets out of the bathroom and breathes the air of culture, life, trends, history: with an excellent guide like Torsten Türling, Ideal Standard’s Chief Executive Officer, the itinerary goes through the iconic locations of each city and gracefully matches the products with the context.

The first stop was Milan, the world capital of design: Türling strolled through the historical locations and it was not difficult to match the values of being Milanese with those of Ideal Standard, which has always focused on knowing how to dose the mixture between design, architecture, and culture. The company’s experiences in the 1950s with Masters such as Giò Ponti and Achille Castiglioni are evidence of a DNA that Ideal Standard has had since its foundation.

Milan also means Roberto Palomba, who is the Chief Design Officer of Ideal Standard, a Milanese by adoption who has gladly married the rhythms and peaks of this city. Together with Ludovica Serafini, Roberto Palomba wanted to stop time with the Linda-X collection, a sincere tribute to the one designed in 1977 by Castiglioni.

Seeing the products of Ideal Standard mediated by images of the Milanese metropolis and perceiving Torsten Türling’s enthusiasm in describing this journey give the bathroom object a new, fresh, modern dimension.

Ideal Standard within Milan, Milan within Ideal Standard, in a mutual and continuous flow of influences: this is the sense of Together World Tour, notes of a new journey.

See you on the 16th of June in Berlin.
