Minotti has made this feature into a true game of style in its new collections for the living area: the elegant, coherent design by the art director Rodolfo Dordoni thus takes on a vivid sartorial tone, an apt representation of the fine craftsmanship that goes into the company’s products.
In the Blazer modular system, precisely the stitching – running across all the surfaces – adds a strong identity to the collection, otherwise expressed in the rigorous geometry of the volumes.
Designing the covering of the base, the cushions, the armrests and the back with regular bands, the project creates a quilted effect that suggests an immediate idea of comfort. This sensation is also accentuated by the rounded internal corners of the back, forming an enveloping niche. The unique matelassé effect is found in each of the various single sofas and modular components of the system.

Connery has its own aesthetic approach, but it is similar in terms of workmanship. At first glance it seduces with its architectural approach, reflecting the American Mid-Century spirit – pure lines, geometric rigor, compositional variety in the combination of squared and rounded chaises longues. A closer look reveals light stitching on the soft seat (conceived as a single padded cushion): a technique that makes it possible to set a pace for the width – 83cm or 68cm – and to interrupt the linear regularity of the entire piece.
