Sanlorenzo torna italiana

Massimo Perotti, Chairmain e CEO dell’azienda, riacquista il 23% delle azioni dalla cinese Sundiro Holding e lancia Sanlorenzo Academy

Periodo di cambiamenti in casa Sanlorenzo. L’azienda famosa per la produzione di yacht e superyacht torna ad essere totalmente italiana. Nel 2013 il gruppo cinese Sundiro Holding aveva acquistato il 23% delle azioni con l’accordo di supportare il partner nella costruzione di barche (non a marchio Sanlorenzo) sotto i 20 metri di lunghezza in Cina.

Ora, Il Cav. Massimo Perotti, Chairmain e CEO dell’azienda, riacquista il pacchetto azionario e detiene così il 96% del capitale azionario della Sanlorenzo SpA attraverso la Holding Happy Life (di cui fanno parte anche i due figli Cecilia e Cesare Perotti). Il restante 4% è in mano al management.

Perotti commenta così l’operazione: “I numeri registrati lo dimostrano appieno: il fatturato è cresciuto dai 300 milioni del 2017 ai 380 del 2018 e per il 2019 stimiamo un’ulteriore crescita del 20%. Abbiamo inoltre 500 milioni di portafoglio ordini fra il 2019 e il 2020. Non ci fermiamo però qua e puntiamo ad investire 100 milioni di euro entro il 2020 di cui il 52% in nuovi impianti per aumentare la capacità produttiva, il 42% in nuovi prodotti ampliando l’offerta con nuovi modelli in grado di soddisfare la crescente domanda del mercato internazionale e il 6% in sviluppo e ricerca.”

Sanlorenzo si è attestata, inoltre, al primo posto nella classifica dei principali produttori al mondo di imbarcazioni sopra i 30 metri di lunghezza (superyacht) con 39 imbarcazioni consegnate nel triennio 2016/17/18. L’analisi della rivista olandese Superyacht Times compara i dati degli ultimi tre anni con i risultati pre crisi, mostrando come Sanlorenzo abbia triplicato negli anni la propria produzione superando anche i grandi gruppi.

Non solo, uno sguardo anche al futuro. Da un’idea nata dallo stesso Perotti, è stata lanciata Sanlorenzo Academy: un progetto finalizzato a creare figure professionali fornendo opportunità di formazione ai giovani.
