Show-room, come la tematica che ispira Maison&Objet o come gli spazi espositivi da cui prende le mosse Déco Off. Un fil rouge che abbraccia la città e definisce la settimana del design parigina

Cosa succede se il mondo digitale cambia le regole del trade, se modifica la figura del consumatore un tempo passivo in un soggetto iperstimolato e iperinformato, se i social network rivoluzionano il concetto di desiderabilità? Questa la riflessione da cui prende le mosse il concept della prima edizione dell’anno di Maison&Objet (19-23 Gennaio), denominato Show-room e sviluppato all’interno dell’Espace d’Inspirations. Piattaforma per eccellenza dedicata alla decorazione nelle sue tre macrosezioni Maison per l’interior decoration, Objet per il concept e retail, Influences per il segmento luxury, design, architettura – M&O pone l’accento sulle nuove dinamiche d’acquisto. Spiega Vincent Grégoire dell’agenzia NellyRodi che ha sviluppato il concept, «Con l’avvento di Instagram in particolare il consumatore è diventato un consigliere e un influencer: può condividere, esibirsi, prendere posizione. È questa la nuova tendenza che chiamiamo “Show-Roomization”: non è più il prodotto che fa il consumatore, ma il consumatore che fa il prodotto. Non vuole più ascoltare delle storie, vuole vivere esperienze: lo showroom e il negozio diventano luoghi di spettacolo e sperimentazione». Lo spazio di Espace d’Inspirations si trasforma in un ambiente interattivo, dove mettere mano e giocare con l’arredo. E se un assaggio di questo approccio si può già testare sul palcoscenico di M&O, nel circuito parallelo del Déco Off può avere un’attuazione pratica. Si spalancano, infatti, gli showroom degli oltre cento editeur internazionali del tessile che costellano la città.
