Spazio al Silenzio

Se texture e tessuti sembrano creare un lungo filo di Arianna che unisce gli spazi espositivi di Maison&Objet con il resto della città pervasa dalle colorate e morbide atmosfere di Paris Deco Off, il tema Silence pervade la kermesse infondendo una nuova interpretazione dell’interior

«Silenzio! Non disturbate questo poetico e sensuale, armonioso e lussuoso minimalismo». È l’invito di Marie-Jo Malait, l’editor-in-chief dell’Inspirations Book che traccia le linee guida dell’edizione invernale di Maison&Objet. Un invito ad assaporare le più profonde suggestioni scaturite dalle numerose installazioni alla kermesse parigina, dalle scenografie arredative dei suoi espositori; ma anche un invito più generale ad ascoltare la voce dell’interior che, secondo le più recenti tendenze, fa eco ai valori di serenità, tranquillità, essenzialità.
Silence è quindi il tema che tira le fila di M&O Paris (20-24 Gennaio) – che vede Pierre Charpin nominato Designer dell’Anno – e delle sue tre macrosezioni Maison (dedicata all’interior decoration), Objet (concept e retail) e Influences (destinata al luxury, design e architettura), quest’ultima palcoscenico dell’installazione firmata Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance (hall 7 e 8).
Il percorso esperienziale della kermesse parte quindi dal ‘new glamour’ per attraversare le variegate forme dell’home decoration, fino al ‘childhood kingdom’ (hall 6). Fil rouge sono le novità in termini di tessile e texture, aspetti sempre più di rilievo in ogni settore dell’arredo, tanto da varcare i confini espositivi del centro Paris Nord Villepinte per rivestire l’intera città di colori e trame: questo è il contesto in cui si sviluppa l’evento parallelo Paris Deco Off (19-23 Gennaio), con oltre centro brand coinvolti che aprono le porte di showroom e gallerie per eventi esclusivi in cui le ultime novità in fatto di tessuti, decorazione, rivestimenti conquistano la scena.
