L’hospitality cresce in Gran Bretagna

Una ricerca di Barbour ABI realizzata per Sleep Event 2015 mostra il clima di fermento nel mercato inglese degli hotel. Con Londra e l’area di North West che guidano il settore

Segno positivo per il mercato degli hotel in Gran Bretagna. Parola di Barbour ABI. La società, provider di Construction Intelligence, ha stilato un rapporto in occasione dell’evento Sleep 2015, che registra il clima di ottimismo del settore hospitality inglese, confermando così un trend già dimostrato nel 2014.

Secondo l’analisi, infatti, si prevede che il totale dei contratti arriverebbero a 2,6 miliardi di sterline entro l’anno. Capofila di questo sviluppo è Londra, che ha dominato il settore lo scorso anno totalizzando il 34% dei contratti (+4% rispetto al 2013) e mantenendo tuttora questa posizione leader. Tra le maggiori commesse nella capitale si conta il progetto di Leicester Square, valutato per 150 milioni di sterline, il Great Scotland Yard Hotel (100 milioni di sterline), la riqualificazione dell’ex Metropolitan Police Building  in un luxury hotel nell’area di Westminster.

A Londra, fa seguito l’area North West del Regno Unito (Manchester in particolare), che racchiude il 19% dei contratti, contando un gran numero di hotel in costruzione o in fase di inizializzazione.

Non sono da meno l’area Est dell’Inghilterra, che ha visto negli ultimi 12 mesi una crescita dell’attività del 3%, e del South West, che tocca perfino un +6% rispetto al 2014.

Tutti indicatori questi della forza del mercato inglese degli hotel, polo dinamico quanto attrattivo di investimento.
