G.T.DESIGN brings textile culture to luxury yachting, turning rugs into bespoke design elements that balance functionality and visual poetry

G.T.DESIGN redefines the concept of the rug in the world of luxury yachting, transforming it from a simple furnishing accessory into a true architectural element. For over 50 years, under the creative direction of Deanna Comellini, the Bologna-based brand has crafted bespoke textile surfaces, combining artisanal expertise, material research, and a distinct design sensibility. In the DOGE 400 project by Ocean King, a hand-tufted wool and Tencel rug creates a refined visual flow between interior and exterior areas, merging technical function with poetic expression.

From innovative yarns to tailor-made textures, every detail is designed to interact with both architectural space and the marine environment. G.T.DESIGN continues to be a strategic partner for architects and designers, offering high-performance, sustainable solutions that enhance life on board.
